Nico O’Reilly A further assured display from the rising star following his initial appearance versus another side. A teammate did not capitalize on full advantage of a clever flick behind their defense. His position looks secure at this stage. 7

Adam Wharton A debut start for his country. Slightly careless when playing out though his dangerous deliveries were a threat. A useful game manager available to the manager to utilize against teams who drop deep. Booked for a rash foul. Six

Declan Rice Set-pieces on corner kicks and free-kicks created chances. Enjoyed room to drift in left midfield yet found himself offside upon receiving in shooting positions. Given a deserved break after an hour. 6/10

Jude Bellingham Played in a high role out wide while also contributed with defensive duties. Demonstrated moments of class and mishit a shot high. Replaced in the closing stages by Rogers, his competition, after receiving a caution. Seven

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with the team's best chance before halftime, his effort smartly stopped from Thomas Strakosha. As a teammate holding position, he had to stretch the play out wide but his crosses from the touchline were inconsistent. Substituted with 15 to go. 6/10

Harry Kane The difference-maker with his seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth strikes at international level. The first a classic close-range tap-in while the second an excellent header having drifted away from his marker. At 32, he continues to improve and England are strong contenders in future competitions with him up top. 8

Eberechi Eze Found it tough to make an impact from the left. Had a good opening after being played in from a teammate yet the keeper denied him. Rashford made much more of an impact when substituted. 5
